What Guests Are Saying
Lower Falls Campground features spacious, well-maintained campsites with ample shade and beautiful riverside views, making it an ideal spot for nature lovers. The breathtaking nearby waterfalls and numerous hiking trails enhance the camping experience, although the campground lacks adequate water stations and has issues with cleanliness in the bathrooms. Overall, visitors appreciate the serene environment, helpful camp hosts, and the opportunity to disconnect from technology in a picturesque setting.

We make an annual trip to Lower Falls. A beautiful place with good hiking and, usually, decent fishing. Good sites but no hookup and a single water source. You need to be self sufficient.

This was our first time here...the campground was wonderful and the short walk to the falls was amazing!! The final road to get there was a little sketchy but we did it just fine while pulling our cargo trailer! Views of Adams and helens on hikes short distances from the campground were amazing! Make sure you get gas in hood river or Carson on your way out to the campground

omg this campground is so beautiful we only stayed 1 night and it was raining we where able to set up tarps to keep dry. The sites are very large I myself am a camp host at a small KOA park here in Washington and was very impressed with what i got and for a very low price. in the morning the sun came out and we went to explore to find the falls. it was just beautiful. I have already made more reservations to come back in august and think i will make it a yearly camping trip. I love this campground.

Fantastically gorgeous place!! We came the year before but I never got to see the falls as within a few hours of setup, I fell and shattered my leg ending our trip. Luckily this campground has a host and a radio. The host worked quickly to triage me as we waited for emergencies services.
This year we were back and I got to see the falls in all their glory! I’ve never been to a more majestic place than Lower Lewis Falls! Our son will be flying back out this coming summer to start our annual camping trip to the falls!

We were there the week before the end of the season and enjoyed the campground with only a few neighbours. The sites were spacious and clean. The hiking paths were well marked and maintained. The scenery was fantastic. We viewed the lower, middle and upper falls and have taken with us many memories. Worth re-visiting.
