Campsite 1 was in a great spot. We could hear the water all day. Only downside was the site wasn’t flat so it was hard to find space for 3 tents and there were wet wipes/trash left from previous groups.

We stayed in the upper loop and loved the spacious and beautiful campsites. Our only complaint was the frequent loud barking of a dog who was with campers in the lower loop. Is there a written expectation that dogs will be under voice command and not a noise nuisance in the campground? If not, then I think it should be added and enforced. Otherwise, we loved our experience and are looking forward to coming back.

We stayed in the upper loop and loved the spacious and beautiful campsites. Our only complaint was the frequent loud barking of a dog who was with campers in the lower loop. Is there a written expectation that dogs will be under voice command and not a noise nuisance in the campground? If not, then I think it should be added and enforced. Otherwise, we loved our experience and are looking forward to coming back.

First let me say that the camping and site itself were lovely! However,
The camp host was not helpful at all. We had a Tuesday reservation and came up early to try and get a site (assuming people had reserved for long stretches and not showed or left early). Most camp hosts will help and give you a heads up about sites that have opened up, but not this one. We needed up doing dispersed camping for the first night even though there were MANY open sites available. He also made us turn around to drive down the road for miles to get cell service (news flash you have to go about 15) to buy an ONLINE pass for the day use. There was no way to pay at the parking area. When we came back (at 3:30 pm with an half empty lot) he insisted we needed the pass even though we tried to get it and were unable to get cell service. He was incredible rude and argumentative and not understanding at all.
He was the least helpful camp host I’ve encountered.

Spacious campsites, amazing tall trees all around that provide shade, short walk to the falls for viewing or a swim, nice hiking, road & mtn biking right from the campsite.

The campground is great. It's ridiculous that the camping fees done include parking at any of the falls and that since there is no service, you'd have to drive "6 miles" to get service to get a pass to park at the river that you've already paid to camp at. Unfortunately, we got a ticket along with the only other car parked in the parking lot. It was a Monday and not busy at all. We even had our forest pass. So lame.

From Portland or Seattle take I-5 to exit 21 for WA-503 E toward Woodland/Cougar. WA-503 will turn into FR 90, turn right at the Pine Creek Visitor Center. Lower Falls Campground will be on your right hand side after you pass mile marker 28 on FR 90.
Lower Falls Campground is accessible via I-5, taking exit 21 for WA-503 E. WA-503 transitions to FR 90 near the Pine Creek Visitor Center, leading directly to the campground.

- The campground opens in mid-May.
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.

- The road to the campground is rough; high clearance or 4WD vehicles are recommended.
Utilities
- No hookups are available at the campground.
- Electricity is not available, and cell phone reception is poor.
Fees & deposits
- The camping fee covers one vehicle and one towed vehicle; additional vehicles incur an $8.00/night fee.
Cancellation policy
- Failure to arrive by the next day incurs a $20 fee and forfeits the first night's fee.
Fires & fuel
- To protect forests, do not move firewood; obtain it near the campground.
