Spacious campsites, amazing tall trees all around that provide shade, short walk to the falls for viewing or a swim, nice hiking, road & mtn biking right from the campsite.

The campground is great. It's ridiculous that the camping fees done include parking at any of the falls and that since there is no service, you'd have to drive "6 miles" to get service to get a pass to park at the river that you've already paid to camp at. Unfortunately, we got a ticket along with the only other car parked in the parking lot. It was a Monday and not busy at all. We even had our forest pass. So lame.

This was a nice campground. It was semi private for how busy the area is. The waterfalls and hiking trails are great!!

The area is a great place to camp, but the administration of the reservations is a joke. The website mentions that if a spot is not occupied on the second day of the reservation then it is first come first serve, that is not true because the camp host does not keep records of the reservations. All the campsites should be first come first serve like it used to be.

Bring extra toilet paper and buy firewood on the way in. The camp host was nowhere to be found and the lower loop was without tp for two days.
Otherwise a beautiful spot, very family friendly
