What Guests Are Saying
Lower Falls Campground features spacious, well-maintained campsites with ample shade and beautiful riverside views, making it an ideal spot for nature lovers. The breathtaking nearby waterfalls and numerous hiking trails enhance the camping experience, although the campground lacks adequate water stations and has issues with cleanliness in the bathrooms. Overall, visitors appreciate the serene environment, helpful camp hosts, and the opportunity to disconnect from technology in a picturesque setting.

It was a large site with privacy. We got our 20-foot RV and left it attached to the jeep with a few feet to spare. There was also space for an additional vehicle and a large tent area. Bathrooms were cleaned regularly, and the camp host was friendly. The drinkable water pump can be found on the upper loop. We enjoyed walking down to the water several times a day; unfortunately, you couldn't really hear the water from this particular site. We did the 6ish-mile hike up to the upper falls, which was absolutely gorgeous. The Road to the campground had been recently graveled, so there were no potholes, but most of it was paved.

Absolutely amazing campsite. We stayed at site 4 and it was very large and tucked away from other sites. A few minute walk to the lower falls and you could hear the waterfalls rushing from the campsite. It was a perfect stay.

This spot was perfect for a 2 night trip. Loved hearing the water from our campsite, #18. Spaces were spacious and not too close to one another. The water spigot in our loop was shut down, but it’s not a far walk to the spigot at the entrance of the upper loop. The falls were stunning and the hike was easy, offering many opportunities to access the water and plenty to admire along the way. Highly recommend!

This is a beautifully maintained and spacious campground. There are well maintained hiking trails, spectacular waterfalls, wildflowers, and swimming holes. The camp hosts’ are friendly and helpful. They even repaired a bent camp trailer jack for me so I didn’t have to cut my stay short!!! Lower Falls is now in my top five favorite campgrounds.

We had a wonderful time at space number 21, it was a double. We had three vehicles and were able to set up comfortably three different tents. I was amazed to find this spot had so much space. The host was wonderful and very helpful in guiding us to activities in the area. We stayed for three nights and four days. I highly recommend this campsite!

Spacious clean sites, my kids loved exploring the site (18) and the trails that lead to the river. Vault toilets are vault toilets, but as clean as they can be and stocked with tp. Looking forward to coming back

This was a beautiful campground. Our site (23) in particular was perfect size for three tents and two cars. The sites were spread apart enough that it felt relatively private, and we couldn't even really hear our neighbors. The falls were gorgeous, and just a short hike from our site.
