What Guests Are Saying
Lower Falls Campground features spacious, well-maintained campsites with ample shade and beautiful riverside views, making it an ideal spot for nature lovers. The breathtaking nearby waterfalls and numerous hiking trails enhance the camping experience, although the campground lacks adequate water stations and has issues with cleanliness in the bathrooms. Overall, visitors appreciate the serene environment, helpful camp hosts, and the opportunity to disconnect from technology in a picturesque setting.

This is our favorite campground with great views of the lower falls and the Lewis River. Clean and quiet, with lots of trails to explore. Don't miss the beautiful 3m round trip hike to see the Copper Creek Falls and the Lewis River's middle falls!

Very bumpy road out there, but worth it. Such an incredible place. Only 1 water spout in the whole place and it was quite a walk from our site.

The calendar allowed us to reserve the first day & stated the following 2 days were "FF" first-come, first serve - so we booked expecting to be able to stay all 3 days. We returned from a day trip to the falls to find the ranger in our site who said we had to leave, someone else had the site reserved, he went on to say this location hasn't been FF for over 4 years and they've had "issues" with the app. There is no cell service so there was no way to call or look anything up, we could argue that we had a reservation, we just had to pack up & go. The people who supposedly booked the site were in another site & would walk & bike by, coming in to the site to "check" on us multiple times, causing our dogs to be anxious & protective, then we had a drunk couple stop by & yell at us because the dog kept barking at all the people who kept coming into our space. It was by far one of the worst camping trips I've been on, and I will never use the app again for reservations.

This campsite was fantastic! Most of the sites here were nice, but we enjoyed having a lot of space between us and our neighboring site. I preferred the lower loop to be closer to the river. Note there was no host on site, so things like firewood or walk up bookings were a no go.

Spacious and shaded, clean sites and toilet. Campers were kind and quiet for there being many RVs (no generators going, though early in the season). Wonderful host (offered activity booklet w/crayons for my kid). 100% recommend.
