This place is beautiful, relaxing, quiet. Security check is great here. I would recommend this place to anyone. The people that work here are so nice and helpful.

The bathrooms and bathhouses were very clean and they kept the fire pits cleaned out. They went above and beyond. But the grass is always in need of cutting. It’s such a beautiful campground with beautiful attractions but the tall grass is awful. The grass needs cut much more often!

We were delayed about 45 minutes past the check in time of 6pm because the folks on our site hadn't left. Ranger told me they were to move to another site but the folks on that site hadn't left and the ranger couldn't find them or reach them by phone. I understand the late day check time because folks want "another day on the lake". However, this just provides them with an excuse as to why they aren't off the site. If check out time was 10 or 11 am these issues would be avoided.
