Just sad that we couldn’t get a spot for 5 days we had to move to another spot mid week when others that were booked stayed empty 🤔

Very much enjoyed our 2-day stay at Battle Run. Sites were spacious and clean, with ours overlooking the lake. Very scenic area with side trips for photography all around this COE campground. Staff were polite and the facility was very well maintained.

Been camping here off and on for the last 50 years, first time back in 15 years. Little or no improvements. Bath houses need clean twice a day, there are lots of trashy people out there. Fire pits needs replaced. They could hire summer help, pick up all the drift wood to supply firewood. When we arrived only one section of the facility was open. We had reservations on 46 but that section was not open. We camped on 106 and canceled our 44 reservation, because we did not want to move after that section was opened, we went home early. People that have reservations should be permitted to camp on their reserved site one week early. Boat dock should be build around the campsites for campers with boats to use. Need better, more and larger bath houses, with better water pressure.

We stayed for 3 nights to avoid Tropical Storm Ian’s wrath. The park staff were very helpful. The park was nice and quiet. Our paved electric only site had a view of the lake and was right next to the bath/shower/laundry facility. We really enjoyed exploring the area too! Would definitely stay there again.

Nice quiet park, small. A little twisty, windy getting in. Very friendly staff. The Exhibition Mine is very interesting, and you get a discount if you're staying at the campground.
