This is an RV campsite at which we tent camped. This worked out great for us as we were able to plug in the electric car, and there are few charging locations in this part of West VA. It is a family friendly place with kids running/biking around and people pulling their boats and kayaks up. There are overhead lights for safety, which means it doesn’t really get dark. This is probably an amazing place to be if you are an RV family. We thought it was ok. Also, this site in particular sometimes smells of sewage as the pumps from the bathroom are situated right behind it. This was generally not an issue but we’d occasionally smell it. The bathroom were clean, and the showers were reasonable.

Wonderful site right on the lake with spectacular view as well was plenty of shade. My only complaint about the site would be there were patches of dirty instead of grass. So when it rain out site was quite muddy.
The bathhouses were very clean.

During check in I wish they would have told us that there was no water hook ups or wood to buy at the campground .

What a great place to spend a week of vacation here. Lots to do from boating, water sports and rock climbing. Wish they would upgrade the tents sites to have electricity.
