We were there when the maple trees had turned yellow. October is a beautiful time of year to enjoy the colors.

Love this park! Picked a cold weekend, but showers were warm and the facilities were always clean.

Great place to camp. Was a little cold while we were there. Bathrooms and showers were clean and park personnel were great.

Potable water available at entrance ( by dump station…) we missed it on the way in and had to turn around. But spots were described well in booking site. We have a class C without leveling system and some of the sites would have been impossible for us to level on, but descriptions prevented us from booking one of them. Sites are large, easily navigated and bathrooms are clean. Did not use showers so can’t comment on those.

My kids had a blast geocaching. The trails are endless. It’s a short drive from highland ridge to the beach side. Unfortunately we didn’t make it to the dam, so we will be back! Clean bathrooms and park!
