Most cool: A deer walked through my campsite one evening. Most memorable: Great conversation with Camp Host Bob. Most Compelling: An afternoon windy rainy thunderstorm. Loved the location and view of the water in the distance (but close enough to walk to). Clean bathrooms and clean campground. Hint: The host sells firewood, located behind the (abandoned?) US Forest bldg.

They closed the dump station on the 4th of July no notice no warning. Imagine your surprise when pulling out or coming in with no access to water. There were only 7 campers the speeding golf cart camp host could have let the 7 campers know. All they do was speed around the campground twice a day. Also no fireworks signs everywhere and guess who shoots them off ? The camp host I could not believe this was a national forest campground.

Very nice campground! However, THere are 4 showers and only one put out hot water!!! This is one of the most expensive sites we've ever stayed at and it offered the biggest disappointment. We didn't see the camp host until 5 minutes before we left. It's a great facility! If the showers worked, I would have given 5 stars

There was a very large red ant pile directly in front of the picnic table. My son was bit by them in the first hour we were czmping.

Showers could use a cleaning. Very few campers so it was quiet. Camp site was perfect sized to fit another vehicle. The road going into the campground was a bit rough. Cell service spotty for Verizon but AT&T worked a little better.

The B-loop restrooms are very clean. Perhaps too many mothballs created a strong smell. There are only a couple of sites that have meaningful shade, but the electric hookups are good. Flaming Gorge is not crowded and has some nice cliff jumping features.
