It needs more electrical sites and the weeds were bad. But it was clean

We wanted a place to stay, have privacy, a place we could capture some amazing images and this place did not disappoint!

The site is wind swept and looks like it has not had an update in the last 30 years. We and other campers were dismayed to find that the bathrooms had been shut down and locked the day before we came - none of us got an email or any notice. No sympathy or advice from the camp host - and no nearby alternatives. We were glad to have a portable camping loo. I would not return

Never saw an attendant or a dog on a leash. Did see a dog off leash allowed to pee on one of the cooking grates on a fire pit though. Dump station is and has been inop for several years.

The Sprinkler system was not being taken care of. Many sprinkler heads were broke or not working correctly

Want to let you know our experience was one wonderful time, for over 32 years we have been coming to Buckboard Crossing . Matthew Metz I believe was his last name did a great job in making sure we were well taken care of, bath and showers we always clean and ready to use. Thank you ; John & Gloria Barry Sr

Camp ground was good, but apparently they had problems with the sewer, leaving campers with no bathrooms or showers for 2 days! We had to travel to Lucerne to use the restroom. Someone should have posted on the doors why they were locked! Nobody came around to inform anyone, or give updates. I feel there was a lack of campground hosts to check up on campers.
