Indian Creek Campground in Yellowstone is praised for its clean facilities, friendly hosts, and quiet atmosphere, making it a hidden gem for campers. Visitors appreciate the campground's great location with easy access to hiking trails and the scenic beauty surrounding it. While some noted minor issues like reservation mix-ups and the lack of on-site firewood, the overall experience is highly positive, with many eager to return.

Staff were efficient and the site clean. We enjoyed our stay there. I did find our site quite dark because it was completely enclosed by trees.

Campsites are fairly private, tent spots are flat and soft, washrooms are the nicest pit toilets i have ever seen! Park workers are super friendly and helpful. Location is good. You can get cell service up the road towards Mammoth but not in site. Trash disposal and recycling available at park entrance. The only strange thing is the extra, extra tall fire rings- you need to have a raging fire to see it! 100% recommend

(Campsite 48) Bug spray and other mosquito repellents are a must in the summer! Luckily our campfire smoked them out a bit but be prepared for many flying friends to join you. Otherwise the campground is BEAUTIFUL, close enough to the north entrance to be easy to get to, but far enough from big tourist spots to feel secluded. My Jeep Rubicon fit very comfortably in the parking area of the spot with room for a tent to be attached to the tailgate. The tent pad was bigger than the footprint of our 4 person instant up Coleman tent. Even with the designated tent area, the ground gets very cold at night even in the summer, so make sure to bring some kind of ground insulation. I also really liked the metal picnic table as opposed to the classic wooden ones.

Nice semi-wooded area with necessary amenities. If in the summer prep for mosquito party. Families seem to book this area a lot, so depending on your location, you may need to expect some noise from kids.

The sites aren’t flat, there’s large rocks and logs that block longer trailers from enjoying their stay. The parks should put some money into the campgrounds and make them slightly larger and remove the rocks and logs in each site, more family’s could enjoy that area with larger trailers

It's a well maintained campground at a good location near Mammoth Hot Springs. We camped for two nights in July, and it got very cold at night (30s). The bathrooms are plenty and well-maintained. The access water could be better designed as some are located almost on some campgrounds (despite being open to everyone). There is some noise from the highway even at night and early morning (it sounded like trucks going at every hour of the day). Some RV's also were also a bit loud during the quiet hours. Otherwise it's a very beautiful and accessible campground with a great location.

Relatively nice and roomy site by Yellowstone standards. Good campground to use for upper loop. For those who don’t know Yellowstone campground culture, no showers at this small campground

Indian Creek is one of the best campgrounds in Yellowstone, in addition to Slough Creek. Indian Creek is more remote than the larger campgrounds and is quiet, shaded, and clean. There was plenty of outhouses and water spigots. Would be nice if they had showers, but it’s worth not having them for being able to stay here. It feels more private than many campgrounds in Yellowstone due to the trees and layout. The campground felt safe and the camp host and staff were kind and it was noticeable that they cared about the campground very much. In addition, it is a great location and close to many great areas of the park. Definitely recommend!
