nice camp ground despite a mosquito infestation. could use spraying, though i doubt NPS will subscribe to that. RV sites need electric to mitigate generator usage and alleviate the generator moratorium which is a hindrance. We left after one day of a three day reservation to go back to the Denali Highway and camp at a pull-off where mosquitoes were almost non-existent and generators could be run at will. And the Denali Hwy is free.

This campground was immaculately kept by the camphost and was a fantastic experience. Sites are great, outhouses were clean and didn't smell. Definitely recommend.

We loved the very wooded site. We will come back again. The day use sites look inviting with beach at Kenai Lake. Might need to check that out.

This is a beautiful campground with nicely private sites. There is a cool river that runs through the area and a gorgeous lake nearby but our sites were not located on the river and I didn't see any that were despite the name of the loop.

Our family has been camping at Trail River for over 15 years. We love the location, the facilities offered and the general quietness of the campground. Our concern is the condition of the entry road and the bridge. We understand that the campground might be closed next camping season for those repairs. We urge you to try making the repairs during the off season and reopening the campground at regular time next year.
