No phone connections at all but it’s private and very quiet. No animal sightings also, very close to the lake overlook the nicest view! Would recommend

Fantastic campground! Our campsite was private, quiet, and provided a good mix of sun and shade. Bugs were pretty minimal and easily managed with Thermacells. Plan for no cell service.

My husband and I like going to trailriver it’s usually quite. The bathrooms are always very clean. Thanks to John and Hellen.
They do need to replace some picnic tables in some sites.

As a life long Alaskan and many trips to this and other campgrounds before the online reservations bullshit that was first come first serve I loved…. This online reservation SHIT SUCKS.l and an additional $8 reservation fee for booking as well as the $18 a night. Went there and on a day drive and over half the spots were vacant from people obviously canceled going and that Sucks since all spots show not available online but I guess you all don’t give a shit since you got paid for the spots
I amazingly got a spot for 2 days over Labor Day weekend with showing only 2 spots available and the next morning so many were vacant. I Had friends earlier stay there and spots never got occupied as well
You all need to get back to basics of first come first serve but you won’t because you all don’t give a shit about us Alaskans.

Great campground with excellent sites. The only drawback is that it tends to be rainy late summer and early fall. Makes it difficult to have a campfire, but otherwise a great stay. During the week, very uncrowded as well. Second time staying here.
