What Guests Are Saying
The North Rim Campground is highly praised for its spacious and well-maintained sites, beautiful natural surroundings, and proximity to the Grand Canyon views. Campers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and the availability of a general store with essential supplies. Although there were some issues with water access and restroom cleanliness during a recent fire evacuation, the overall experience remains positive, with many expressing a desire to return in the future.

Had a lovely time. Every trail I hiked was beautiful, and the weather was kind to us.

A great camping space and setup, with lots of room for each campsite, considerate neighbors, and everything close at hand for exploring the North Rim. Unlimited pinecones were a fire-starting bonus!

Walking to the lodge from the campground is great and very easy. Not particularly a biker friendly area.

The camp site was excellent. We saw deer walking past in the rear of the camp. Lots of big pine trees. Beautiful site. Very nice hike along the canyon to the lodge.
The nights were cool in late May which felt amazing.
Loved the North Rim and camp ground.

Hidden gem, tucked into pine trees, with crisp mountain air. Huge campsites, quiet, clean facilities, great general store, and a perfect place to watch the sunset over the canyon.

It's a beautiful campground with a well-stocked store. We hiked Rim to Rim to Rim, starting at south K so it was strategic because it's close to the North Kaibab Trailhead. There are hot showers and a laundry .

We camped here after doing rim2rim and were carrying our tent with us (no car/rig set up). I think there are dedicated walk in sites - would highly recommend getting one of those or a dedicated tent site since we accidentally had a pull in site where all the ground was pretty slanted for putting a tent up. Otherwise - campground is nice, convenient bathrooms and store set up if you are resupplying here. It is .7 miles from the actual trailhead and 1.5 miles from the lodge - which feels reeeally far after rim to rim. There is a free shuttle between all these places but be prepared that it might be running a bit late
