Great campgound. We love the North Rim - quieter and more rustic than the south rim. Note that this site is across from the group sites - there was a large school group when we were there, making it a little noisy and the nearest bathroom was mobbed. Other bathrooms were’t far away, though

We stayed in sites 10, 44, 62, and 14. The sites closest to the rim, 14 and 11, had great views, but it should be noted that the sites next to the rim are pretty sloped and may be challenging for tent campers. Overall, the campground is spacious and shady and feels peaceful even when full.

The campsite is beautiful, and I loved everything about the grounds. However, beware of site #51. It is a "pull through" site but there are several trees (one each side of the pull through) that doesn't allow you to actually drive through if you are pulling a trailer. You have to back it out which is very tough because of the number of trees to dodge behind you. Fortunately for me, I met Bill the campground host. He was great to come down to the site and talk through backing it out. Bill is a real PLUS!!!!!

Great place, loved it! Bathrooms are near by, waste container right there and water access. Overall it was a great experience.

Had a tent only campsite for one night. Disappointed that there was no running water for those sites, but understand the challenges of keeping water flowing in that environment. Available water wasn't too far away. Really, really upset that the quiet time curfew WAS NOT ENFORCED! How could the camp host NOT HEAR the partying going on somewhere in the campground (group site, maybe?). I mean, really? They didn't shut up until midnight. For those of us starting the rim-to-rim the next day did so sleep deprived, not the way to begin an epic backpack. What's the point in having a policy if you don't enforce it? I wound up getting out of my tent and trying to catch some sleep in my car! Very uncomfortable, but at least it blocked out those yahoos.

Very clean campsite, very quiet camping neighbors, bathrooms were clean, ranger was friendly and present. Beautiful views of the sunset over the canyon just steps away from our campsite. We would definitely stay here again!

Great campground! We enjoyed the relatively large campsites.
We wanted to extend our stay, and filled out the on-line alert form for new vacancies. It was frustrating to get an alert but be unable to reserve the new site because of lack of cell or internet signal in the park.

We stayed in 3 different spots, all nice but 9 was our favorite near the rim. Laundry facilities, dump station and store were all handy. Easy access to trails.
