Beautiful campground. The night before we stayed at the Mather campground at the South Rim. The North Rim campground was quieter, more beautiful, less busy. The Transept Trail is worth checking out for the stunning views of the Grand Canyon. The campground is a very short walk to the North Kaibab trail, if you're heading into the Canyon.

Showers overflowing, unclean, not enough toilets for the large families. Really roughing it. Felt like a daycare center. There should be section for single and pairs who do not want experience this child day care center where there is no peace and quiet. We come from a noisy city to try to experience nature and all you hear all day are yammering kids. No privacy. Jammed in like sardines fighting for the shower and laundry. Ugh

site 08 should be avoided. No shade. If there is rainy weather your entire campsite will be flooded. site number 06 thru 09 have run off issues and # 8 and #9 do not offer adequate shade. If you are a sun worshipper you might like it. They are both cut into a hillside that means you are walking downhill or uphill the entire stay. There is no level spot for chairs…. Unless you choose to sit in the middle part of the driveway. The other campsites are FAR SUPERIOR. Just don’t choose to stay in 8 or 9 for certain!!! We do a lot of camping, all tent. These sites are not worth it.

Lovely campground with nice facilities. Showers are a bit pricey, but we're in the desert so...

This place is amazing! I’ve never been to the South Rim, and from what I’ve heard it is not what I’m interested in. I love the higher altitude, the less hustle and bustle of the North Rim. It is, in a lot of ways, harder to get to, but well worth it for me.

Took awhile to secure a campsite…but reminders of available sites made it possible.
Nice campsites. No generator usage at Zion Watchman cut our trip short. Couldn’t
This be altered during the summer of campsite construction?

We stayed in a tent only campsite. The space between tent sites is nice, and they're still near where cars can be parked. The sites are near the trail that takes you down to the lodge and a great view.
There's not much shade at the tent only sites. The nearest restrooms to the tent only site are vault toilets and the nearest water spigot was out of order.
I hope the near by flush toilet restroom and the nearest water spigot get repaired soon.
