We had an email go check in with the host, but when we arrived there was no host. There was a kiosk at the site but that was also not manned either. We eventually we were able to connect to wifi and look up our site number but for people arriving late that wouldn’t have been possible (as the general store would have been closed). In the days before online reservations the host or the person in the kiosk would have posted a list of names and their corresponding sites, but even this wasn’t done.

We love the location of a campsite. It was tents only. They have a shuttle that takes you to the north rim, which allows you to also have access to the café and restaurant. The only problem during our stay was it was super windy. Also the restrooms near the tent camping were not superclean. If you can drive to the entrance near the store there are showers, laundry in a cleaner restroom. Overall we love the North rim better than the South. The camping makes it very economical.

The campground was clean with a beautiful setting. The ranger Cindy was extremely helpful to find a better site as the one I booked wasn’t appropriate for the size of my popup.

Site 41 is good. Trees for shade or hammocks. Bathroom and store a very short walk.

The campground was beautiful. Our site was on a hill so the fire out and picnic table were slightly difficult to navigate. We learned what to look for in the descriptions of the sites.
The dump station is a tight squeeze if your trailer is 9’ wide.

Very close to the Rim Trail. We were able to watch the sun set on the Canyon. Bathrooms are close enough, and there are pay showers.

Sites are in a very treed area so lots of shade! Bathrooms can be a little far from some sites but were clean and well maintained. lots of water available throughout!

Site 14 is one of the very best sites at the north rim campground, views of the canyon right from your site. Note it is a very sloped site but the pad is flat at the top.

The campground was very clean and quiet. Spaces are well seperated so no feeling of being crammed in to the campground. Interaction was minimal after check in but that process went smoothly and the Ranger was very friendly and fun. Restrooms were very clean and the nearby shower facilities were clean and had a nice flow of hot water. The general store was handy and had a good supply of basic camping items and souvenirs. That staff was very friendly as well.
