What Guests Are Saying
Black Canyon Rim Campground offers a beautiful and spacious setting that creates a dispersed camping feel, with well-maintained sites, clean bathrooms, and friendly hosts. Many campers praised the ample tree cover, potable water access, and the overall cleanliness of the campground. While the road to the site could use improvement and some noise from nearby off-road vehicles was noted, the positive atmosphere and helpful camp hosts make it a highly recommended destination for future visits.

Me and my boys had a wonderful stay. I, myself, had not been camping in 20 years. I missed so much about it. The campground facilities were clean. Pat, our host was just a great person to talk to and I can tell the campground is run very well. I would come back and I would recommend anyone to try camping here. We did the hangman's trail nearby and that was a really fun hike. We also walked around the lake. which is a either a short drive or a nice longer hike down the road. And while we didn't see horses in the campground, they were nearby. We enjoyed our time here and will definitely be back.

The sites are very large, and the bathroom was very clean. I'd say the only down fall is that there is only 1 bathroom and the water source is only at the entrance. The host is literally a sweetheart and I will definitely be recommending this campground to others! Thank you for a great stay!

We like this campground as we've stayed here before. This past time though there were a lot of rowdy children and other groups that didn't respect the quiet hours.

Perfect site. Camp host was great. We made reservations for camp site but with our equipment she helped us pick another site that would better accommodate our needs (Sun-Fri we were the only campers).
We had a mule dear within 15' of our site and wild horses within 30feet of our site.
Our camp site was #10 - we had a SUV with tent attachment, UTV with trailer and canopy over our table.

It was a quiet and lovely campground. Every afternoon wild horses walked by our camp so neat to see!
We will definitely go back.

Spot 14 is great - it's far enough off the road to not get any dust, and you're kind of in a corner, so people rarely drive past you. Very clean, quiet campground. The camp host is very nice and helpful. I'll definitely be visiting here again.
