Groom Creek Horsecamp is exceptional. The campsites are well-placed and leverage the beautiful scenery as well as maintaining a good distance from other sites. I love that wheelbarrows/rakes are provided. The corrals are sturdy and safe-no rough edges and good quality latches. We had a great time!

I was hounded by the camp host for riding through camp on the way to the trails with my dog. I won’t be going back.

Nice trails, well marked. Saw lots of deer. Host is always available if you need help or have any other issues.

We had a great time! Camp is very clean. Seems like there could be a gate at the end of Loop B for easier access to the forest and loop trail!

One of the best campgrounds around. Awesome trails, only wish is there were two corrals like at Houston Mesa. Still favorite horse camp ground and highly recommend.

I had a wonderful time at Groom Creek. Nancy & Joe, the campground hosts, were very helpful and friendly. The campsite (Loop C 37) was just perfect. It was nice and level. Trail around the camp and the one across the road from the entrance were very nice...dirt, a little rocky in spots which was no big deal and not strenuous for a 71 year old with spinal stenosis. Everyone in camp was friendly. I definitely want to go back.
