Camp host not very friendly or helpful. We had an online reservation for 5 nights but there was no reservation tag hanging at our campsite. Another camper was in our space and we had to ask him to leave. We use recreation.com all the time and have never had this problem. Jan Warnke

This campground was great! There was no camp host, just forest volunteers when we went in October. Clean bathrooms and very spaced out campsites! It’s also only a 10 minute bike ride to Granite Basin Lake which is a great little lake to kayak in or for the kids to play in.

Very helpful and pleasant camp volunteers! Nice clean toilets. Clean site. Clean drinking water. Beautiful area! Only 21 sites so this is a rare gem. Generally peaceful and quiet! Very relaxing!

Really loved this lush green site in the forest; only two miles from the highway it’s easy to reach and perfectly quite. Nice hike around the campground available and a small lake for fishing and boating close by. We stayed longer than originally planned!

Clean, quiet campground with excellent tent pad and driveway. Beautiful view of Granite Mountain and the surrounding area. Good hike to Granite Basin Lake from campground. Will definitely return and tell my friends about it.

Clean and private campsites. Clean bathroom with freshwater available. I have been there twice and am already scheduled to return.

As so many have said this was a quiet spot and even with the camp host nearby we felt privacy. There were fire ants as someone stated before, but fortunately not on the tent pad and only one hill near parking slip. Everything was perfect and clean. This campsite was quiet, immaculate and the bathroom lights were censored so no need to fuss with a light both approaching the restroom and inside. We will definitely camp here again!

The campsites are well maintained and the bathroom was spotless - very rare for a public campsite bathroom. The campers (patrons) staying at the campsite were respectful to the quite hours. My wife and I enjoyed 4 days of boon-docking at the site and will return.
