Apache Trout Campground is a pristine, friendly destination. This area is beautiful with lots of things to do. Bring your ATV, hiking boots, bicycle, fishing gear, binoculars, camera, and oh, don't forget your rain gear. The RV sites are well maintained and the staff is amazing! We come every summer, mainly to get out the Phoenix heat, but mostly because we truly love it here! Just a note to know, there is no cell phone coverage in the campground, so it makes it easy to get back to the simple things in life!

The Camp was clean, well maintained and the Hosts were both helpful and friendly. Only wished the showers were opened later at night and that the Hot water was better than tepid.

Overall great experience as always. Had a minor conflict with one host who said a 5 and 7 year olds could not ride battery powered bikes. This was ridiculous as they do not meet any definition of a motor vehicle.

The Hosts were great. They kept everything clean and are knowledgeable about doing and going on other activities in the area.
