What Guests Are Saying
Toad Suck Campground offers a beautiful setting right on the Arkansas River, with clean facilities and friendly staff, making it a pleasant place for camping. Many visitors appreciate the spacious sites, good fishing opportunities, and the chance to watch boats navigate through the locks. However, concerns were raised about highway noise, traffic from non-campers, and limited bathroom facilities during peak times, which could affect the overall experience.

This place was one of the best stays we had on our latest 10-week trip. Right on the water, electric and water in the site. Dump at the exit. Private bathrooms and showers. Facilities and grounds well maintained.

We loved our stay at Toad Suck. We will definitely be returning for a longer stay. Richard and Becky were the attendants on duty and they were so friendly and welcoming after our long drive from Oklahoma. Thanks!

This is an absolutely wonderful park. I met the caretakers who are both incredibly nice and accommodating. They put a lot of effort into maintaining the area. The bathrooms were very clean. Great cell service all over the site with pretty views of the Arkansas river.

This was our first trip in the new to us RV. Spot A1 was just that…A1! The parking pad had a very slight slope. The spot was nicely shaded, had an excellent view of the Arkansas River, and was very close to the very clean bathrooms and showers. We have a 5-year old son who loves the multiple playgrounds at the park as well as riding his bicycle with us on the paved paths/roads throughout the park.
We will be back in the future!

Had a bit of trouble logging in to recreation.gov because of the length of time since I use it, but the folks at Toad Suck told me how to contact support and the support folks fixed me up. Got a great space very well priced due to my senior pass.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! I love the location by the lake. This was my 2nd stay at Toad Suck RV Park on my return trip from Kentucky. I only stayed one night this time, but I had stayed longer than expected in Kentucky so, I had to cut it short. My first visit was for 2 nights with a friend. I wish we had more time to stay there, but again we had to move on. I will return soon for a longer visit. The camp hosts were very friendly and helpful.
