John F. Kennedy campground is praised for its beautiful scenery, clean facilities, and spacious campsites, making it a favorite destination for families and fishing enthusiasts. The hiking trails, particularly near Collins Creek, offer enjoyable experiences for all ages. While there are suggestions for improvements such as better internet service and more frequent trash pickup, the overall sentiment is very positive, with many campers expressing a desire to return.

We enjoyed our stay at JFK. The hiking trail along the creek is really pretty and there are plenty of trout to be caught in the river. The restrooms are clean, the showers are hot, and the water pressure is good. We felt like the campsites in the B loop we're a little close together, and some of the campers go overboard on the decorative lights... it's a little bit like camping on the Las Vegas strip. After one night in the B loop we moved up to the D loop and really loved it!. A lot more trees and space between sites. We stayed a week and will definitely return in the future.

The lady at the front was great! JFK is such a nice facility. We never used that campground until just this past January and we have loved it so much. Thank you!

A burn ban would have been nice to know about before hand. Access to the river is hard from our campsite with thick woods so we couldn’t fish. Long long walk to the bathrooms. No kids play park. Ugly view of the hatchery was our backdrop
