Swim area was gross! Walked to the end of the buoys ankle deep in mud. No cell reception anywhere. (Which I knew going in) but I expected to spend my time in the water.

Great scenery and clean facilities. Loved our spot (8) it was closest to the swim area so the kids had easy access plus close to the boat. Pads a bit of a downhill slope, 4 blocks under the downhill side's tires put it level.

Alway friendly, clean, and helpful. Preston and Debbie are amazing. Carter Cove is our favorite place to camp. Restrooms and showers are kept clean. Easy access to fishing, even without a boat.

Nimrod is one of my favorite places to camp. If your looking for a lot to do this is not your place. The park attendant is very good always looking forward to talk to him.

Well, it was pretty messed up this year due to water levels of the lake. Fish weren't biting at all.
