I camped during offseason in the first week of November. Site was as expected, plenty of room, the park was nice. There was no attendant the entire weekend, which may have been due to the shutdowns or the season. I'm not sure. Main problem was that the electric was not on at the site when I arrived. I tried to call the number listed but reached no one. Someone came by the second night of my stay to notify me the electric was back on- they had contacted someone at the park. My trip wasn't greatly affected because I had a generator and enough battery power to operate off grid without issue, but if you were not prepared for that I imagine it could ruin your stay (or at least the groceries in your rv). I hope it was only a one time issue. But plan accordingly.

My family and I had the BEST camping trip ever last week. The site we had was absolutely perfect, the playground was nice for our kids, and even just walking around the park was so beautiful and comfortable. Can’t wait to go back in the spring!

Very pleasant experience overall. Some seasonal timing issues with reserving campsites the end of October. Our site with water was available while the whole area without water was closed. Seems backwards to me but must be for some reason. Also the nice bathhouse open the 30th was locked up the 31th.

The environment was clean and well maintained, security was present and regularly patrolling, which made the camping feel safe. Bathrooms were okay, could use a little more care, overall a positive and comfortable camping place.

Absolutely fabulous... Campground was well maintained from the camp hosts to vault bathroom. The grounds were manicured like a golf course, the bathrooms were steam cleaned, security from sheriff department and the park rangers were daily, camp hosts did rounds frequently. Camping was as good as the fishing

Site 94. I was there during the week so it was very quiet, probably only 1 out of 10 sites occupied. Great biking a long the park roads. Path down to the water from these sites is a bit steep but no problem. Sites 93 and 94 have a perpendicular bend to get you situated in the site, so it can be challenging to maneuver midsize or larger campers. Mine is 25 feet long and length was not an issue but had to almost jackknife the truck to make it work.

This site met and exceeded our expectations! It’s the most private site (with the exception of 134 immediately nextdoor - think driveway that comes to a T with 133 on the right and 134 on the left). It’s downhill and you can only see 3 sites from it. Site 134 was vacant for our entire stay, so we were very secluded. The pictures don’t show that you have a grassy area between the driveway and the lake that is about 30ft wide and as long as both sites. It was wonderful for our dogs. There’s also about 100ft between the site and the road.
If you have two groups, I think booking 133 and 134 is probably the best setup you could ask for!
Backing into 133 was a little more than a 90deg angle so that might be tough with bigger campers but for our popup it was totally fine.
At the end of the 30ft grassy area there is a path to the beach / lake!! Not all sites have direct access so this is a gem for sure. He view from the fire pit was stunning.
Bathroom was a very short walk and was cleaner than expected. It’s a vault toilet but honestly didn’t really smell. Granted, in the hot summer I bet it does.
We can’t wait to come back to this campground and we will be booking 133 for sure! If you like feeling more secluded this is the best site on this loop.
