The bathroom on the peninsula was removed. That was a bad timing decision. Why not wait until camping is closed on the peninsula.
This park is a great park but only wooded portapotties was not good

We found the campground well maintained and clean. Since it was late in the season, there wasn't any crowds. It would have been nice to have water at the campsites. But, we understood why it was turned off. I would recommend the camping area, and may return again next year.

Amazing views and easy walking around park. Great site. Will definitely come back. The vultures were never an issue and were interesting to watch.

Nice campground.
I would however like to make note that I think it’s unfortunate that visitors have to book Friday and Saturday’s night together even if we are not able to stay both nights. Particularly in the low season when there is low demand for camp sites.

Horseshoe Bend is accessible via State Highway 94, which connects to Rogers and provides direct access to the campground.

Policies & Rules
Arrival & departure
- Check in with the camp host at 4:00 PM and check out by 1:00 PM.
Site capacity
- Each campsite can have either one RV and one tent or three tents.
- Camping is limited to 14 days within any 30-day period without special permission.
Vehicles & parking
- Parking on the grass is not allowed.
- Off-road vehicles and golf carts are not allowed.
Safety & rules
- Dumping waste is prohibited; use the dump station or remove waste. Shower and bathroom tents are not allowed.
Fees & deposits
- Non-campers must pay a $5 area use fee per vehicle and display the receipt.
Pets
- Pets must be leashed, caged, or penned, and cannot be left unattended at campsites. Owners must clean up after their pets.
Fires & fuel
- Do not move firewood; buy it locally and burn it on-site to protect forests.
Wildlife & food storage
- Prevent invasive species by cleaning gear before and after your visit and properly disposing of organic waste.
