the park needed to be mowed and the bathrooms by where we were camped was not very clean . the showerhouse and even the bathrooms for the fact need to have some sort of fans in them to help pull the heat out, it was almost unbearable.

The hosts were very kind. The actual site was quite tiny. The shower house was awful. There was no place to put a towel or dry clothes. If you need to use the shower in campground B, it's a disappointment. If I were to return, I'd look for a site in campground A.

The staff there is wonderful. The lady who works the booth is a gem. She went out of her way to help get us settled. Our only issue was the really hilly terrain. I have SPS and getting from camp to the water was very tricky. Need to find a flatter area next visit.

Area was clean and electric was readily available. Plenty of tables and access was great. It had a play ground next to it with plenty of shade. It had ample parking space and close to the water. The whole family liked it!!! Will come back for another family reunion picnic next year if not sooner.

Getting There
From Rogers, Arkansas, take Highway 94 East/New Hope Road for approximately 8 mi, and follow into Horseshoe Bend Park.
Highway access
Horseshoe Bend is accessible via State Highway 94, which connects to Rogers and provides direct access to the campground.
Policies & Rules
Arrival & departure
- Check in with the camp host at 4:00 PM and check out by 1:00 PM.
Site capacity
- Each campsite can have either one RV and one tent or three tents.
- Camping is limited to 14 days within any 30-day period without special permission.
Vehicles & parking
- Parking on the grass is not allowed.
- Off-road vehicles and golf carts are not allowed.
Safety & rules
- Dumping waste is prohibited; use the dump station or remove waste. Shower and bathroom tents are not allowed.
Fees & deposits
- Non-campers must pay a $5 area use fee per vehicle and display the receipt.
Pets
- Pets must be leashed, caged, or penned, and cannot be left unattended at campsites. Owners must clean up after their pets.
Fires & fuel
- Do not move firewood; buy it locally and burn it on-site to protect forests.
Wildlife & food storage
- Prevent invasive species by cleaning gear before and after your visit and properly disposing of organic waste.
