What Guests Are Saying
Convict Lake Campground offers stunning views, well-maintained facilities, and friendly hosts, making it a popular destination for campers. Visitors appreciate the clean restrooms, proximity to the lake, and various activities like fishing and hiking. However, some sites are small and exposed, with limited shade, and there have been occasional reports of noise and theft. Overall, many guests express a strong desire to return.

This is a very pretty, private, serene place to camp. the lake is a walk away and the set up gives you total privacy from other campers, The toilet is very clean and there's a faucet in front for washing foot and hands.

We had the greatest time at this campground. The groundskeeper were absolutely wonderful keeping the campground ⛺️ so clean. Bathrooms were spotless. Our campsite was perfect! I will come back!

We were in site 83, which was pretty flat and had great views to the mountains surrounding the lake. We brought our bikes and pedaled around the campground as well as the lake. Treated ourselves to one night at The Restaurant at Convict Lake. Never had a bad meal. They're great! We were there the last week they were open before closing for the winter. Was mighty cold at night, but the stars were spectacular. Can't wait to go back next year.

... Beautiful setting. Large campground, well-spaced (seemed a little more cramped in the RV section, but my tent site was spacious and private).
The lake is gorgeous, with swimming, fishing and small, electric (6 hp or less) "no wake"- boating... NICE!
• Also has a beautiful dog-friendly walking path around lake... Pleasant for sunrise/sunset strolls.
• Clean bathrooms, showers and drinking/cooking water available
• HIGHLY RECOMMEND a meal at the
3-4☆-rated Convict Lake Resort Restaurant (¼-mile from camp), if you aren't beanie & weinering it 😉- a bit pricey, but worth it!
