Convict Lake Campground offers stunning views, well-maintained facilities, and friendly hosts, making it a popular destination for campers. Visitors appreciate the clean restrooms, proximity to the lake, and various activities like fishing and hiking. Great views, excellent fishing, nice getaway from the summer heat. We camped in a Travel trailer and had a great time. However, there’s always one bad apple that can put a damper on a great trip. Neighbor would turn on truck and headlight for extended periods of time at night. The problem was the light shined right at our camp fire. Same neighbor decides we all would like to hear club music during the day. I thought we could escape the city life for a few days… guess not completely.

What a beautiful campground!! I feel like any of the campsites will have an amazing view. We had the privilege to be at campsite 002 which is near the main entrance next to the camp manager. The campsite was well maintained and clean and most importantly quite. There is lots to do at this campground like fishing, kayaking, swimming and hiking but we decided to go out to mammoth lakes which is only 25 mins north from the campground. I recommend going to mammoth and take a $15 shuttle ride to the devils post pile national monument. Its a great hike and if possible go to rainbow falls which is only another mile 1 1/2 miles away from the devils post pile. so don't lose your ticket. Everything about this trip was amazing and i highly recommend this campground.

Flush toilets and clean bathrooms, walking distance to lake which has nice walking path with select picnic tables and beach access for swimming and fishing. Site were on the smaller size, nice tent pads but very exposed and hot. Access to resort which does have pay-for showers, restuarant and small general store on site. Small lot by lake fills up early but plenty of overflow parking at front of campsite.

Overall campground was fine, restrooms were clean and stocked. Very little shade anywhere, only a few sites have any real shade, and when I was there it was 90deg. There was a wedding at the resort one of the days and the music could be heard quite loud until 10pm which kind of disturbed the out in nature part of camping.

Clean sites and bathrooms. Just not a lot of shade.

Incredible views of the peaks around us, little shade cover. Close to the bathroom and water spigots. Comfortably fit our 3 small tents and 2 cars. Spotty, unreliable cell service. Only complaint was, due to our exposed location, and wind storm blew in out last night, so strong and loud we all had to sleep in our cars. WOULD DEFINITELY COME AGAIN!

What an amazing experience! The scenic views. Fresh air. We had an amazing time at Lake Convict Campground. The sites are close together but we felt there was plenty of privacy in-between. The restrooms were clean. The showers were far but it was a good reason to visit the store. I enjoyed our vacation and would certainly go back.
