What Guests Are Saying
Convict Lake Campground offers stunning views, well-maintained facilities, and friendly hosts, making it a popular destination for campers. Visitors appreciate the clean restrooms, proximity to the lake, and various activities like fishing and hiking. However, some sites are small and exposed, with limited shade, and there have been occasional reports of noise and theft. Overall, many guests express a strong desire to return.

Beautiful views. Exceptionally well kept campground. Not Lake front, but right next to a fast flowing creek. Just an all round stunning area.

Convict Lake Campground is awesome. Close to everything you might need but far enough away from city life to feel the outdoors.
Special shout out to Camp host Dennis who does a fantastic job. He is courteous as well as keeping the campground running extremely efficiently and safe. Dennis also gave us tips of how to keep the deer mice out of our trailer. Highly recommend Dennis and Convict Lake Campground and Resort.

One of the best Eastern Sierra campgrounds I stayed at this trip. It has nicely space campsites with amazing views. The hikes in the area provide a great way to see the lake and the Sierras. It is a well run place with a good campstore near by

We go there every year, twice a year. Early May and mid October. Guy trip. For over 20 years. Weather is always something one needs to be ready for. We had snow, wind, and sunshine all in one week. Be prepared! Fishing was good, not great, but we caught enough for a trout dinner for several guys.
Dennis and Jeff were fantastic as always. Campground hosts par excellence! We had two trailers in 58 and 59. One was my brother’s. I rented from Adventure in Camping. Great company! Been renting from them for years.
Dinner at the restaurant is a must! The resort is stocked with nearly everything you need.
Oops! I’ve said too much. 😊

Our family has been coming here for over 60 years, before there were campsites (except a few on the lake!) and it is still our favorite place to fish/camp. The campground host was great and the sites, and bathrooms, were meticulously maintained.

Convict campgrounds are one of the cleanest campgrounds I have stayed at. The views of the mountains is amazing too. Walking distance to creek and lake. Very much kid friendly. Love these campgrounds #82 is right infront of restroom.
