What Guests Are Saying
Eshom Campground is praised for its beautiful and serene location, with clean facilities, a helpful host, and enjoyable amenities like a nearby creek and meadow for stargazing. Many guests appreciated the quiet atmosphere and the opportunity for family bonding in a secluded environment. However, accessing the campground can be challenging, requiring a rugged vehicle due to rough roads, and it is relatively far from major attractions like Sequoia Park. Some visitors experienced issues with smoke from prescribed burns during their stay.

The campground is beautiful! It was a pleasant stay! We even had cell service which was nice. The road coming in is narrow but doable if you go slow and take your time. It was well worth it!

Nice campground, but it is far from L.A.
Campground itself is quite and nice.
There are many cow droppings during hike on trails.
WiFi signal was good.

A little bit off the beaten path. Definitely donβt take the forest service road. Otherwise it was clean, quiet, and nice. No bear box but the host said we could leave our stuff in the car without issue.

This is a lovely location. But be aware you need to be very confident in your abilities to drive very narrow, windy rough lane & half black top roads that have blind hair pin turns. This is not just the 8 & 1/2 mile road leading up to the campground but the roads leading to that road. You also need to be confident in your equipment. If so enjoy the piece & solitude.
