Really small camp site, no privacy, not even space to setup 2 tents. Didnt end up staying the night. Camp host was rude too probably more fed up with the day use traffic

I have been coming here for years with my family and love this place. This year was the first year we brought a boat and utilized the boat ramp. Even though there are clearly signs instructing no swimming 100 feet of ramp, it was CROWDED with children, on the ramp, on the dock, in the water on the ramp, and around the ramp. None of them knew (or, their parents didnt know or care), to even move when someone was attempting to launch or recover a boat. I almost struck a child trying to back down as they ran right behind my trailer as I backed. Almost backed into child swimming in the boat ramp too. Very frustrating that no one is able to enforce this rule and keep people safe. Would rate this 5 stars if not for this experience.

Camp and host were excellent. Family had a great time. Not the camps fault but, we had some campers that were less than tidy (gross) with how they left the outhouses. Camp staff was prompt about taking care of the issue. We'll be back next year if all goes well. Hey, I had jury duty the day after my stay with you'all, is there anything you can do about that? Just kidding we'll be back.

Always a wonderful time at Giant Gap campgrounds. Camp host Tricia and Steve are great people! Weather was perfect while we were there. See you next year!

When we showed up, there was no running water. The camp host said that the water would be turned back on the next day, however the water as never turned back on. It was not turned back on until the day after that which was the day we were leaving. It made it very difficult to wash our hands or wash dishes.

We had a great time but the bathrooms were filthy and the water was shut off without notice.

Giant Gap Camp was truly the best experience ever! The location is stunning, and the peaceful atmosphere made it feel like a hidden gem. The lake was absolutely beautiful—perfect for relaxing, swimming, and making unforgettable memories. We had such a great time and can’t wait to come back!
