Visitors enjoy various water activities, hiking trails, and the campground's overall beauty, although some noted issues with noise from nearby shooting and generator use. The camp hosts never came around and the toilets were out of TP the entire time we were there. The site was absolutely gorgeous and peaceful. I have camped her for over 30 years and love the lake. I wish they'd clear the felled trees from the shore from the fire last year.

Campground was nice. The camp host was MIA and no firewood so campers had to scavenge for wood to burn to keep warm and nobody there to police guests. Very dangerous if there was an emergency as there is no cell service either. Bathrooms okay but was running out of toilet paper towards the end of the weekend due to, again, no camp host.

Nice area! Pretty loud throughout the day/night with people playing music and firing guns (not at the campsite). FYI lots of wasps were present, so good to bring something to cover food with. Use the bear box!!! We had a bear come through the campground during the middle of the day. Lots of dogs off leash at the campground. The lake is super pretty!

Nice Campspot and lake. No fish spotted, we missed showers, dump station was closed, lots of dead wood around campsites. There were actually better campsites for two rvs available than the only advertised number one.

Pros:
#10 is secluded and has a gorgeous view.
The reservoir is lovely.
The trail around the reservoir is lovely.
The drive is easy, if you follow the directions on the campground website.
Cons:
Other sites are close together.
People were playing music all day and evening.
There is some sort of gun range or something on the other side of the reservoir, so we heard gunshots off and on all day.
That being said, it’s a beautiful place. We’d go back to Site 10 for sure.

Beautiful area. Our site was a very short and easy walk to get to the lake. Great view!
Enough sun and shade in campsite to suit everyone. It was great to be able to have a real campfire. Camping there under the full moon shimmering off the water was spectacular!
We left our bear box slightly ajar for about an hour while we were down in the lake. Enough opportunity for some critter to steal our good bread and leave just the torn up wrapper. Lesson learned lol

Everything was good bathrooms are not so very clean. Drinking water in my opinion is not drinking water not even after boiling it, only used it for washing hands and couple dishes water comes out like yellow and smelling like rust . Take your own water for drinking. Lake was beautiful so clear! So worth it.

This was our first time back camping in the area for 2 years. My husband, son(17) and 2 friends and 2 other adults' had a great time. It was so nice to find the lake at full capacity! Weather was perfect. As always the campground/facilities were clean and stocked. The only disappointment I had was to see so many trees down and so many slash piles( understandable due to danger of falling - fire/ bark beetle ).
Thank you to the camp host's for maintaining a beautiful camp.

Our #21 site was and always has been our favorite. The host are amazing. The only down side of this trip was the Yellow jackets were absolutely ridiculous. We can tell they were an issue because we noticed many yellow jacket traps but the problem was they needed replacing and more.
