We have been going to Sugarpine Res for many years and this year was so disappointing with 500+ felled trees down and blocking access to the water. It seems very dangerous.

We had an amazing time. The water was so warm. We did a group site and it was huge and shady. The only issue was the road to get there. We will take a different route next time haha.

I loved this campground. The hosts were friendly and were patrolling frequently enough. It was quiet, and the lake has good trails around the lake-- one direction the trails were paved (so you could take a stroller or bike). This site has steps to get to the parking pad so not ideal for a travel trailer -- it was a lot of going up and down the stairs to access the trailer. Also not much privacy with the site next to it #17, although our group had both sites so not an issue. We didn't see bears, but we also used the bear lockers which were very roomy. We will come back here.

Great campground. Quiet, not alot of boat activity, so our kids had a good time swimming in the lake. Nice trails, easy for young kids. Bathrooms were clean for being vault toilets. Plenty of firewood around to collect to burn (fires were allowed at the time we were there).

The lake was very pretty and clear. The only bad thing I can say was they cut down many of the trees which now block A few paths to the water

Last minute cancellation for forest clean up was surprising, especially on long weekend.

Really nice camp hosts and no issues at all. The lake was pretty high up and was looking very nice. Definitely looking forward to next year

The spaces were spread out so we weren't right on top of our neighbors and the lake was beautiful.

After the surprise spring rain, we had a great time. Enjoyed the water and warm sunshine.
Campsites and toilet facilities are kept very clean. Camp host was very helpful. Campground was very quiet during week days. Thanks.
