We love this campground. Site 11 had a beautiful view of the reservoir. This spot was difficult to maneuver with the camper. Probably should just be a tent site since when you back the trailer in you are facing away from the site My only complaint was that the camp post ran their generator a lot. We started each morning listening to it for about three hours and ended the evening listening to it for at least three more hours. Perhaps they could’ve run it consistently across the middle of the day? Otherwise it was a perfect stay.

Site 15 is HUGE! Pull through at top for large trailer and three level tent sites. Campground is very clean, quiet and the reservoir is perfect for non-motorized watercraft. The bathrooms were a little smelly though!

Stayed in double site 26. Site is narrow for 2 RVs and tree on the side of the driveway should be trimmed. Site is sunnier than it use to be because numerous trees have been cut throughout the site and tree trunks are stacked up everywhere. Wood blocks tent areas and completely blocks main trail down to the lake.

Beautiful lake and campground was very nice. Very quiet after 10 p.m. Only problem was the pump out station. Don’t count on it to be available. We were able to pump out our small Lance travel trailer but near the end of pumping, it started overflowing onto the pavement. The 2 trailers behind us were not able to use it. Also there are 2 spaces to pump out but one of the faucets was out of service.

Been coming here since the mid Eighties. Love Giant Gap camp grounds. Always have a great time. Find a great spot by the lake and relax.

Pit toilet doors will not close near site 18. Otherwise, clean. Short distance to the lake. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to stay the night due to my dog getting sick and had to take him home for emergency care.

This location is beautiful. Water activities, hiking around the lake, shade at some sights. The bathrooms the full first day were not well maintained though if you hold your nose and bring your own TP you’ll be fine. Starting around dusk, there were gun shots all around the lake, which was disruptive to the calm, nature setting and our sleep.
