Everything was perfect, except water level at the lake is very low. Camp host is very friendly. Restrooms are clean .
Thank you.

Follow the instructions from this website to get there - do not trust Google Maps! We did and ended up on a winding single lane back woods road that took an hour to travel 14 miles. The campground has stunning scenery, and the host was quiet friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, there were some loud family groups, including one that had teenagers motocrossing through the campground which made walking across a bit frightening. There is no cell service, so come prepared for that, but lots of vault toilets and accessible water.

We camped here in July of last year and the campsite we stayed at had no shade. It was very hot and there were lots of bugs. There were also some very loud neighbors that stayed up late and partied most of the night. The bathrooms were really gross and the camp host was not super engaging. This campsite is closer to the reservoir, but i think i definitely prefer Giant Gap compared to this campsite.

The camp host was helpful and the facilities were pleasantly clean. Perfect for hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking, OHV trails, star gazing, etc. The elevation is only 3,600 ft so while the area won't put you in a state of awe at its beauty, I would still recommend for a weekend getaway in the woods.

Great spot. Camp manager was super understanding when we accidentally setup in the wrong campsite (wrong campground actually, what a story...).

We didn't know that there was a sell-off of the water in the reservoir before we got there. You could barely see the water from the shirt tail camp. The bathroom(?) were almost to the maximum capacity. The camp host said that they were under staffed.

Nice small RV campground near the lake but not too close to the tent campgrounds. Quiet and clean.
Looking forward to going back

Overall I would recommend this site!

The Good
- The walk down to the water was easy and close.
- The trails were clean and easy to walk
- The place was beautiful!
- There was running water near the campsites
- The camp site was clean and staff was very friendly
- The bathrooms were clean

The Bad
- There was no AT&T service
- There were so many bugs, everyone left with bug bits even after we sprayed ourselves with bug repellent.
- The bathroom seats were large enough children could fall in.
