We stayed in site 23. Nice site but had a bit of trouble getting our 21' trailer backed in due to boulders on the edges of the driveway. No shade at site but first time there so didn't pick correctly. Hosts are very nice and keep restrooms very clean. Easier access to the river if you stay in the spots beginning with 40s.

Right on the water with clean facilities and attentive camp host. Not bad for pit toilets. Definitely bring shade while in the site. It is warm when you're not soaking in the river.

Very nice campground , we where in camp 9 for Father’s Day weekend. Host was accommodating and they switched our campsite due to too many rocks on camp 16. Water was cold and there’s a small river beach down the street. Would recommend. Bathrooms where well kept

Incredible campsite! Beautiful views. Close to the river, you can hear it all night. Far away from other campsites. No complaints!
Ports potties, running water, a few and piles but nothing crazy!

The hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly. We rolled in around 6 PM after making a detour to hike the Trail of 100 Giants, and they made sure we were all set for the night. They sold us firewood and let us know there was a small general store just three minutes down the road—perfect for grabbing anything we’d forgotten (yes, marshmallows included).
The campsites are well spaced, and even with a full site next to us—including kids—we still felt like we had plenty of privacy. Falling asleep to the sound of the river was a peaceful dream. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this spot for a quiet and beautiful stay.
One note to be aware of: The listing mentions bathrooms, but just to clarify—they're more like glorified outhouses. Think porta-potty style with no sinks, though there is a water spigot outside. It’s manageable, but I wish the site had been clearer, as I was expecting standard restroom facilities.
Aside from that, the views are stunning, and it’s a truly magical place to unwind. Would absolutely return.

There is an extra vehicle fee of $8.00/night on the 2nd vehicle in each single campsite and on the 3rd & 4th vehicle in any double campsite, provided these vehicles are not joined to the 1st vehicle by a hitch and towed onto the site. In the case of motorcycles, the 1st and 2nd are considered to be one vehicle and the 3rd and 4th are also considered to be one vehicle. So the fee would be a single $8.00/night of stay for the 3rd/4th motorcycle. |
