Great camping location! It’s safe, and quiet. The restrooms are clean and there are plenty of water facets throughout the campground. The hosts are super nice and friendly. The only downside is that there lacks good access to the river. Would definitely recommend to others.

We enjoyed very much our time at the camping. We stayed at space 12 and 43. The last one was the best because it has direct access to the river. The bathrooms were very clean, and there was toilet paper. The hosts were very friendly also. Finally, the spaces were very clean and well-equipped; there was a secure box for the food to avoid having issues with bears and plenty of access to drinking water. The two main issues were that there was not too much shadow, so it may be too hot in summer. Also, some visitors were very noisy the first night (on a Saturday) they had loud music and started driving around to celebrate something. The other nights, there were no problems.

One of the best sites at Camp 3 Campground. Very close to the water. Great for young children when the water level is low. No rapids and water moves slow through this part of the river. Great for tubing.

I cannot rave enough about how amazing my experience was at this camp ground! Honestly our camp hosts made it all the better. Excellent hospitality all the way around. My group felt very well taken care of. I would recommend staying here to literally anyone. It has plenty to do for people with all sorts of interests. The drive from LA to the campground felt like nothing, very short trip!

Campsite 041 was great. Enough space to fit two large tents and three canopies. A short walk to clean restrooms and an even shorter walk to the nearest water source. There is a rocky hike down to the river from this site, but our little ones made it up and down with ease, as did our seniors. Campsites 38-47 are prime sites for easy river access. Natural shade is limited, but the same goes for most of the river. Our hosts, Kelly and Kent were gracious and helpful, going out of their way to help search for our missing dog. An instant favorite and will be returning.

There is an extra vehicle fee of $8.00/night on the 2nd vehicle in each single campsite and on the 3rd & 4th vehicle in any double campsite, provided these vehicles are not joined to the 1st vehicle by a hitch and towed onto the site. In the case of motorcycles, the 1st and 2nd are considered to be one vehicle and the 3rd and 4th are also considered to be one vehicle. So the fee would be a single $8.00/night of stay for the 3rd/4th motorcycle. |
