Nice campground with lots of shade and friendly host. Nights are quiet but a lot of noise from the highway in the morning (trucks driving uphill).

Have stayed in this cg before and will def stay again. Close to town and easily accessible. Definitely liked staying on this side of the cg, feels more secluded. Site was spacious, well maintained, and clean bathrooms

Great campground. No hook ups but there is a dump station and water fill available right across the street for $10. Super close to town but nice and quiet. Was not crowded at all.

We have been making this place a family tradition for a few years now and it is perfect! We love everything about this campsite. We have the forest surrounding us but yet we can literally walk to the store. Its always clean, the restrooms and water are conveniently located. There's so much do do in Mammoth. You can walk around the Village there or go hike the waterfalls. Just absolutely AWESOME. Godwilling we will be back in the fall to see the colors turn!

We have been coming to Old Shady Rest Campground for many years. It is always a very relaxing, wonderful experience.
The camp hosts are always very friendly and welcoming.
The camp ground is always clean as are the bathrooms

Reserved Sites will be held until checkout time (NOON) the day following your arrival date. Sites must be occupied by the checkout time of the second day to hold a reservation or the site will be forfeited and released to other guests. Please call the office at 760-934-5795 if you need to inform the campground of an arrival time greater than 24 hours after your arrival date, or if you will not use your reservation whatsoever. |

Please Note: One RV with tow per single site or one vehicle per tent site. Most sites can accommodate 1 extra vehicle that is not included with the reservation fee. In accordance with standard industry practices, Inyo Recreation will assess an additional $10.00 extra vehicle fee per day for the second vehicle in each single family campsite, and on the third and fourth vehicle in any double family campsite, provided these vehicles are not joined to the first vehicle by a hitch and towed onto the site. In the case of motorcycles, the first two are considered one vehicle, and the third and fourth motorcycle are also considered one vehicle. No additional vehicle fees are collected for bicycles. |
