The site was bigger than expected. Right in front of bathrooms.,very quiet and clean. It was a very peaceful place! We enjoyed it very much., loved that the convenience store had coffee and soft serve along with other food options. I probably wouldn’t have over packed if I knew how well equipped the store was. Overall this was a great camping place.

This was our second time camping there. The site and facilities are always clean. The staff at the market and cafe are friendly. Showers are clean and have plenty of hot water.

Campsite B34 is in a good location with nearby clean toilets. It also has a dishwashing station near toilets and running water.

Calm campground. We liked the sites are good in size, not too close with the neighbors. The big downside was no hot water from the faucet. The water is freezing cold which makes feeling everything uncomfortable. The weather is in cooler side due to high elevation. It gets really cold in the nighttime. Then cold water addition to that is too much for us. Other than that we liked there.

This seems to be happening on a regular basis. recreation.gov offers sites that supposedly fit trailers, but only fit tents. This has happened twice. Not reliable. Plus, they are grossly understaffed, it took us forever to find a campground host who luckily found a site for us.

Lassen Volcanic NP is a great park to visit. It has large campsites and is very peaceful. Manzanita Lake is beautiful and the view of Lassen from a kayak can't be beat. I recommend spending a day driving the park highway; we made the trip from north to south and then stopped along the way at many of the suggested sites.
