The site was great. You only have 1 neighbor on one side of you which is nice. The campground was nice and clean. There were several hiking trails the are right near the campground. And the lake is right there as well.

A lovely campground and close enough to walk to the lake for watching birds during the day, bats around sunset, and stars after it gets dark! It would be wonderful if the national park campgrounds stopped allowing the use of generators - polluting the air and covering the sounds of nature with the blare of engines. So last century! SOLAR is affordable and easy!

Large rather busy campground. We stayed in the tent only loop so did not have as much disruption with generators. There is a camp store and an easy walk down to the lake.

Nice campground, recommended. We enjoyed our visit. Of course it was helpful to have a place to wash dishes - most of the bathhouses included a sink. There was also running water in the restrooms during the season when we visited. Lake was walking distance from the A loop. Most of the sites were occupied while we were there, as expected. We could see and hear our neighbors, however we felt there was a comfortable level of space between sites. Quiet hours were closely observed when we visited -- all guests were very respectful.

- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee.
