This campground was everything I imagined, nestled under tall pine trees our campsite was perfect. As morning sky turned from black, grey then light, life began with wild life with squirrels and deer. Then the camp ground came a live. Kids playing, camp fires and the smell of morning bacon being cooked. We had a wonderful time and will defiantly return.

Lassen Volcanic National Park is one of the most beautiful national parks in California and definitely worth the visit. The scenery is breathtaking, from the steaming hydrothermal areas and crystal clear lakes to the wildflower meadows and mountain views. Every stop along the park offers something unique, and the hiking trails are well maintained and enjoyable for all experience levels. The park is peaceful, clean, and perfect for anyone looking to experience nature. If you're visiting Northern California, this is a destination that shouldn't be missed. Can't wait to come back and explore even more!

Manzanita Lake was very quiet. The bathrooms were clean. Lots of trees for shade coverage. Close to the Lassen tourism spots. A best-kept secret of California. I’d definitely return.

We had two tents (2 person for the kids and a 3 person for the adults) and had plenty of room. It was pretty flat. Plenty of room for both tents. Close to water source and bathroom. Very nice bathrooms!!!

The campsite was great, clean and long enough to park our SUV.
The toilets were clean...we noticed that the janitors and trash truck will come every morning for cleaning and trash pick up.
