Summit Lake North is praised for its great location within Lassen National Park, offering scenic views, easy access to hiking trails, and a beautiful lake for swimming. The campground is well-maintained with clean bathrooms and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a favorite for visitors seeking a relaxing camping experience. B11 was a nice level site , close to lake and bathrooms. Bathrooms were flush toilets and were kept very clean and stocked well. The utility sink area to wash dishes was nice too. Would absolutely stay here again!

Nice campground with new paving.
The lake was nice and warm to take a dip in at the end of the day.
Lassen NP was a great park to visit with less crowds and some good hikes.

2 pals n I stayed for two nights at this campground in early August and loved our experience there.
General campground:
-sparsely vegetated, but despite seeming like you might not get much privacy, we felt pretty out in the wilderness.
-people were pretty respectful of quiet hours
-facilities were clean and well-stocked + info kiosk was helpful, since there's not much reception
-great location in proximity of many lassen stops to explore :-)
Sites:
- we stayed at site 2 the first night; highly recommend if you can secure a spot across from summit lake. it's beautiful and was such a treat. it's pretty on its own, so there weren't groups too close by
- site 7 the second night was decent. it's in a nook sandwiched between two other campsites, but one of them was unoccupied. it might be odd if there are bigger groups neighboring yours. still was nice
