Nice campsite within 100 yards of a great little lake. Considering other campers were close by, it was relatively quite. Good facilities and good proximity to other destinations.

Quiet, scenic campground, clean facilities, great camp host. Although previous year’s fire burned quite close, the canopy directly above campground was undamaged so still provides shade for campsites.

Unfriendly staff and the sites are so close you can hear all conversations of the people in the next site.

Stayed at this campsite for two nights and it was AWESOME. Didn't interact with the host but it was easy to find my reserved campsite and it was a really nice location. There is a lake that you can swim in that's right next to the campsites. There are multiple bathrooms, stations for water for drinking all around, and a station to wash dishes! Each campsite had a campfire and a bench. There was also plenty of fire starter (moss, leaves, branches) but you are responsible for bringing your own firewood. Very pretty location. It said max 6 people, but we had 7 in our campsite so I think it was okay. Make sure to keep a printed copy of your reservation and entrance fee in case anyone asks for it! Enjoy :)

We had a wonderful time here. The water was warm enough to swim and there were nice little hiking trails to enjoy with our 4 yo. Nights were so quiet and it was great to get out of the heat. We definitely want to come back.
The only downsides were that a significant part of the park burned in the Dixie Fire, including up to the east side of the campgrounds. There also isn’t much space between camp sites so be good with no privacy.
