Had a great peaceful time with my family. The water was perfect temperature this time of year for swimming. There were no loud neighbor campers. Campsite and bathrooms were clean. You can get fresh water from the spicket. All in all great camping experience.

The sites themselves weren’t bad and the facilities were clean, but the noise from the highway was very loud. At certain points during our stay we had to yell to be able to hear one another.

Several camp sites are closed apparently due to hazard trees. There is also a lot of litter in and around campsites. Our food locker had a package of raw pork chops left in it.

Traffic could be heard & seen straight ahead from the campsite. A lot of rodents & bugs lingering around. Typically it isn’t an issue but this time around it was sketchy since it was believed the rodents were carrying a plague. Our cam spot (11) did not have a bear box. Neighbors were loud & inconsiderate. Would not recommend this campsite if you’re looking for a nice getaway.

After arrived at the camping spot we found ourselves with a bear box full of garbage, reported to the host and come to clean in about 10 minutes but he wasn’t looking that happy about it. Pretty place but unfortunately very close to non-stop trucks passing over the hwy 80. But that’s not all! The train also going through the upper hill was so noisy at night, passed at least 12 times. The only good thing was the fact of having cellular reception.

The campground is beautiful, the river is nice, however the noise from I-80 and the trains overcome everything.

We came from Chico and when we got there the campsite was deserted no one around buildings gutted empty. I cannot get in touch with anyone about getting a refund either. It was very disappointing. Do not recommend don’t waste your time.
