What Guests Are Saying
Lake Mary Campground offers beautiful scenery, clean facilities, and friendly hosts, making it a great option for outdoor enthusiasts. Many visitors enjoyed activities like canoeing and stargazing, and appreciated the presence of flush toilets and paved trails. However, some sites are cramped and bear activity can be a concern, so visitors are advised to secure food properly and consider the site's layout before booking.

We were in Site 5, right next to toilets - which was not an issue as there was no annoying light, and even though campground was full, not many people using it. Does get windy and cold, even in July! Flattest part to put the tent was right next to bear box - which makes no sense, so we put it away from that area. Easy walk down to the lake, with beautiful view.

This was a wonderful campsite. The host was excellent and visible. The bathrooms were always clean. Our campsite was large and close to the lake.

We parked our car and didn’t move it again until we left! We got around by bikes or trolly. We originally booked 5 which practically had the bathroom in the site. And zero shade at noon. But great afternoon shade. We ended up in 6 which had shade over the table at noon but afternoon naps were tricky for our littles. One napped in the truck bed which had great shade and the other in the tent the first day when the wind kept it cool enough. The second day he napped in the hammock with me because the tent was too hot. Would stay again, but would look at other sites farther away from the road, lots of non-campground visitors stopping to use the restroom.

Very noisy campground. Trailer size is not enforced. People with large trailers and trucks blocking the road to make parking in your own campsite very difficult. No camp host for a couple of days, which meant people were loud and using profanity around young children. Not a very peaceful trip to the outdoors. The firewood purchased at the camp host was damp and would not stay lit.

Campsites are very cramped but there is lots of nearby shoreline to fish and relax at.
Tent campers seem to have to walk a ways to shared restrooms.
ZERO cell service from Verizon!

Beautiful spot for sure, but it's hard to camp in 35 mph with 50 mph gusts, just seems to take a bit of something away, especially since I couldn't put my canoe in the water. Overall, it was still nice to get out of so cal.

Campsite 26 is jammed in between two other sites. Our campfire was no more than 15ft from the tent in the site next to us.
