What Guests Are Saying
Lake Mary Campground offers beautiful scenery, clean facilities, and friendly hosts, making it a great option for outdoor enthusiasts. Many visitors enjoyed activities like canoeing and stargazing, and appreciated the presence of flush toilets and paved trails. However, some sites are cramped and bear activity can be a concern, so visitors are advised to secure food properly and consider the site's layout before booking.

The good: clean flush toilets, beautiful views, close to numerous hikes. However, certain sites are very small and surrounded by neighbors. Sites 10 and 11 are similar to camping in a parking lot. Most sites are better for tent camping, not Rv.

Overall good experience once again. Somewhat surprised to see bear encounters in and around the campground multiple times each day.

Campsite #40 is situated next to the common bathrooms. The light is not intrusive on the campsite. Room for several large tents beyond the bear box. Two parking spaces provided. An extra car beyond one incurs an $8 charge. The campground hosts are attentive and friendly. They clean the restrooms multiple times a day. Very clean. The site is a short walk to Lake Mary and very close to the bike trail/walking path. The small store and paddle board rental are a very short walk away. I enjoy this campsite very much.

Lake Mary is my favorite place to camp! All campgrounds are not the same though. Some are small and packed with people while others have plenty of space. My site was stunning. The camp hosts are amazing and keep the area clean, and the view was gorgeous.

It would be really nice if lake Mary had a tent only section.
A small tent next to a huge RV takes families away from the camping experience.
I strongly recommend a “tent only” loop.
