What Guests Are Saying
Trimmer Campground offers a beautiful, peaceful setting with lovely views of the lake and good AT&T service, making it a nice spot for relaxation, boating, and fishing. Many reviews highlighted the shaded campsites and overall cleanliness, though there are concerns about bathroom maintenance and the campground's isolation. While some visitors faced issues with restroom availability and cleanliness, others enjoyed their stays and appreciated the quiet atmosphere.

This is a very nice campground with a beautiful view. I was there in the fall and had the place to myself so I had perfect weather and an abundance of wildlife that included redtail hawks, bald eagles, a bobcat in my site, and coyotes singing in the night.

Great area, all you need for camping. The sites closer to the water are better for parking. Make sure to check smoke conditions though.

Nine RV sites is what I would say if you’re a tent camper looking for a spot. You could pitch a tent here, but each of the nine sites barely has a tent pad and what little pad there is, is right above bedrock so don’t bother with tent stakes. Restroom was clean enough with a single stream “shower”. If you’re in a pinch it’s an ok site for the money, but with all the boondocking sites around, I’d pass this by if it came to it again.

It was a very decent place when we went we didn't really have anybody there so it was very quiet no loud camping neighbors so that was good, the only bad thing about the whole deal was on our second night we had a guy in his motorhome that showed up and having a running the generator for the last 2 days straight that we were there, and it was 105 at least every day but besides that it was amazing!!!

Just about the worst campground I've ever stayed at! Save ur money!
Lake was 22% full (per ranger) and most of shore is surrounded by Icky mud/cow poop. You can walk down the concrete boat ramp and water was actually ok.
No surprise campground smells like poop and was about a 100゚. Was only down to 86°at 1:45am! Campsites are practically on top of each other. Trash overflowing and bathroom dirty/trash.
Ranger was super nice and helpful.
