What Guests Are Saying

Trimmer Campground offers a beautiful, peaceful setting with lovely views of the lake and good AT&T service, making it a nice spot for relaxation, boating, and fishing. Many reviews highlighted the shaded campsites and overall cleanliness, though there are concerns about bathroom maintenance and the campground's isolation. While some visitors faced issues with restroom availability and cleanliness, others enjoyed their stays and appreciated the quiet atmosphere.

The location is a great camp site.
I just feel they need to upgrade the site add a little TLC to the campers sites. do little upgrades or touch ups. Like a flatter and better guarded edge from falling into the rocks or terrain. Have a better centered fire pit for bigger camping families. Idk. Can’t really pin point to the needs but these are just some of my point of views.

It’s was soooo far away from the parc we were visiting!!!! King’s Canyon. Out of a 3 day stay we only went there one night! Don’t go there if you are visiting parcs. It’s very isolated. The road is extremely hazardous and many and very steep curves, scary!! And we had only a 21 feet RV. No service, toilets not clean, but the view of the lake is nice. ABS very quiet. But not for us! Sorry.

Two nights at site #4 late March. Loved everything about it. Great view of the lake. Got flush toilets and a hot water shower. Only 10 sites altogether so it was nice and quiet. Will definitely be back several times more as it’s close enough to drive from the Bay Area.

They do a wonderful job leveling the area for tent camping. We did RV camping and would appreciate an improved road conditions.

It’s a beautiful quiet place, very maintained, clean with friendly Rangers checking on things, makes us safe. Overall, best place I’ve ever camped 😎

There was a stray pitbull roaming the campsite and when contacted park managers wouldn't do anything.
Bathrooms need deep clean. Otherwise a nice area and nice experience :)

This is a nice small little campground right off the lake. The sites are rather close together, however luckily it wasn’t loud and others were respectful. There are no hookups and we had poor cell reception, however we went to enjoy the outdoors and get away so this was not an issue. With the lake half full, we had plenty of are to walk down and explore around. Have the kids bring bikes, Rc cars, etc for a fun time.

Nice camp site. I enjoyed the peace and quiet. The restroom were ok. Wouldn't hurt to update them. The lake was low but still nice.

We camped 1 week ago, the place was really amazing, the view spectacular. When we were there no other camper, only me and my husband so quiet and so relax, till 8pm there's a pick up truck arrived and parked at site 9 and we are at site 2, feels weird and scary we just wondering why he was there, I'll checked the website if there any other campers reserved however no one. So we decided to packed up and leave as possible because of the guy driver of that pick up ruined our camping even he didn't do anything or whatever, but we felt very bad vibes.
